You see one of these, then you see the sad sacks driving Sorentos, CR-Vs and xBs and think, geez, what the hell happened?<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled alignnone wp-image-75003 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.curbsideclassic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/1958-Lincoln-12-e1370904272916.jpg?resize=600%2C404\" alt=\"1958 Lincoln-12\" width=\"600\" height=\"404\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 1958 Lincolns and Continentals (technically ALL Lincolns, but for marketing <em>fiat<\/em>) were bigger than a Cadillac, plush, and with their 131-inch wheelbase, clearly had lots of stretch-out room. It even had air suspension as an available option.
