It’s been an exciting day dealing with my friend from the Racine, WI police department.

Turns out he was just pretending to be his best friend. His best friend says that we should work this out without the police getting involved, presumably because his best friends doesn’t want to arrest his best friend for impersonating a police officer.
If only I would give him $800 for the guitar, he said, we’d be fine. So I found someone willing to pay him $800 directly and accept shipment from me. He told this person that I had “Soul’d” the guitar. Does he mean “stoled”? I couldn’t say. But because I’d soul’d the guitar, he was unwilling to sell it. Then he told me to send it back. Then he asked for $800 again. I’m starting to wonder if he’s actually mentally ill.
I sure would like to get rid of this guitar so I could spend the money on something else. Like this James Trussart Steel DeVille with an engraved awesome dragon. It’s just $3995 at Austin Vintage Guitars, which is more money than I can spend right now and certainly more money than I could ever have in this old Heritage H-150 Ultra with the chips and dents. With that said:
* it has a steel dragon engraved into it
* it’s super badass
* I somehow doubt that the people at Austin Vintage Guitars will pretend to be cops and threaten to come down (or up!) to Ohio to kick my ass.
Put those three things together and you get value, my friend.

Trussart makes very nice guitars… I played one of his Teles and quite liked it. Too rich for my blood, but nice just the same…

The next time he threatens you, you might consider responding with ” Drive up for what?”
or maybe the cop was trying to help his buddy, and now doesn’t want to get busted for it
although, all those consistent spelling errors would suggest the same person
I had to check out the inventory in the link. The Trussart does look super badass but for the price you could get the ’81 Ibanez Artist, the ’08 PRS Mira, that wicked looking ’48 Gibson GA-25 amp and have some left over for some sweet dragon stickers. Or maybe go for the Gibson Howard Roberts and see if the remainder will get the ’63 Fender Deluxe Reverb. Of course, if you want a guitar to potentially double as a defensive weapon none of those would strike fear into an assailant like a steel dragon being swung their way would.
