I’m probably the last person to get on Instagram with my own account. For a few years now, I’ve shared the account @itsjackandjill with my friend Jill Moorhead, but I’ve decided to start one of my own so I can follow all of those, ah, yoga athletes and whatnot.
Some jock-sniffer registered “jackbaruth” a long time ago, so I’m doing what the F1 drivers do and Insta-sharing as JackBaruthOfficial. It’s, like, totally official. Check it out at your own peril.

I’m getting to my old man “the world is passing me by” point. I didn’t have a twitter account until two months ago, and ended up closing it within a week. pretty much anything Instasnap doesn’t interest me. And I read a story about Pokemon Go on Kotaku yesterday; I was like “I see words, they form sentences, but I have absolutely no idea what any of this means.”
You’re more millenial than I am and I am a millenial. Sad.
Could you please remind me what is this app useful for?
I don’t have twitter and closing the fb account would probably be a good idea.
It’s mostly useful for watching young woman do amazing pole dancing, and seeing very contrast-y photos of Yamaha-Virago-based cafe racers.

WHICH ONE IS IT?
HAHA
No Instagram account here. I have an unused Face book account and one Twitter account I use for side work promotion. Social media can die for all I care.
I find it fascinating that everybody claims to be above social media and yet I keep getting more followers.
