Oooh! The Eliot-Rodgers-a-likes of “The Car Lounge” have assigned me official Dark Triad status! But are they correct?
Turns out there’s a test. I went ahead and took it. I was way below 50th percentile on two of the three qualities. So there, haterz!
You can listen to the aforementioned podcast here,, but I’m not so sure it was the serious attempt at world domination my critics think it was. It was a chance to yuk it up while enjoying the contents of Mr. Farah’s remarkably well-equipped bar. There’s very little it that isn’t said with a smile, and a few times you can hear us laughing too hard to continue. I’d rather be a “dark narcissist” than someone who sits in a basement and listens to other people tell jokes while waiting for the day he can run out and show everybody that he’s, um, the perfect gentleman.
I don’t know why you got so much hate over that podcast. But then dark triad status has eluded me:-
7 percentile Narcissism
46 percentile Machiavellianism
9 percentile Psychopathy
I’m working on the Machiavellianism.
I don’t know how reliable that test is. My shrink told me that I’m narcissistically impaired with some psychopathic behaviors, but I’m below 50th percentile on all three of that test’s categories.
Maybe you were trying to fool it 🙂
I re-listen to that TST podcast on occasion - completely off the chain hilarious. Far too many binary folk about who lack a subtle understanding. Your brother is also pure gold therein.
