I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.
Jr. may be the next Plant, but I think it is safe to say that Sr. is not. And while I am hating, what is up with those outfits? One guy’s got a rugby jersey, one has a football jersey over a long sleeve tee, and one jackass has a sportcoat over some hipster bullshit tee. The kid is the only one with some fashion sense. Also the only one with a decent haircut.

Hey! I have more ability to hit those notes than Plant did at my age — he was already singing the catalog an octave low at 43,
As for the outfits, excuses respectively:
* Canadian
* OSU football game attendee
* No excuse

You are going to have to start doing duets with Alison Krauss.

I just realized that I’m three years older than Plant was when he released “Now and Zen”.
Ugh.
I always figured Planty was nailing Ms. Krauss. She got divorced before they went into the studio.

Thank you for the very generous loan, glad to see it made it home intact.
Also, you should let your son sing the high notes…
It’s not the notes. It’s the spirit. Jr nailed the sense the scream is meant to invoke. Your son has a lot of intuition of how it should feel.
I don’t have the musical vocabulary, but I guess I just believe it more from him.
I am sure it’s a reflection of his environment.

You guys sound great. I love seeing the Moderne. I can’t tell if it’s an Epiphone. My wife bought our black Moderne when Mars Music was going out of business. It makes fine wall art because it never stays in tune.

That Moderne was built by my friend Chris O’Dee, who is my partner in the whole Melody Burner enterprise. It now belongs to the fellow playing it in the video. 🙂
indeed it is….and it stays in tune pretty good! I am digging it
“korina korina, where you been so long?”
hey that’s not just any rugby jersey…it’s a GUINNESS jersey, all the way from Ireland
that was fun…except when I clammed going up on the neck…who the heck writes a rock tune in F# anyway?
I agree: the kid stole the show!

Hard to find a guitar with Klusons that stays in tune!

I had a shirt that looked just like that, but it doesn’t fit anymore (sad trombone). My real jersey from my high school team still does (because it looked like a smock at the time) but it is a ridiculous thing that looks like the paint job from a captured V-2.

You’re very blessed Jack ~
At about that same age my then young Son began coming on the traveling jobs with me and learning how to use a torque wrench .
I have zero musical ability but I liked this anyway .
Sorry Jack, Jr outdid you on the vocals
