Hard to believe that Mike Reno is almost sixty years old now. That makes me feel old. For the record, as an MTV watcher literally from Day One I was heartily sick of Loverboy at the time, but thirty-three years after “Get Lucky” debuted it seems reasonable to give some of the music a shot.
Speaking of getting old: Five years ago I could hit all the notes in this song no sweat. I need to go see a voice coach (“THAT’S NOT THE ONLY REASON!”) pronto.
That was pretty darn good almost as good as he was live back in the mid 90s. You should do some streetheart tunes I think your voice would be well suited to those as well.
