Jack: You write the truth, beautifully. I don’t know who Travis Olkulski is, but I am going to look forward to you kicking his ass.

That is an epic throwdown there, best of luck with it. And be sure to get a (sfw) video of the jalopcup getting teabagged

Man, it has probably been 2 decades since I watched Behind the Green Door. Guess i’ll download it to refresh my memory. Of course nobody shaved back then, so my rose-colored glasses might get cracked! 🙁

    “…3800 V6 into a 1990 Mazda RX-7.”

There is so much win yet so much how’s this even…what the…but how…

“I want to invite all Jalopnik readers to come out this Saturday and watch Travis get stomped to the curb while I hoist the Jalopnik Cup Of Excellence over my head and then rub it suggestively against my nut sack as a solid two middle fingers to Travis, Travis’ family, Jalopnik, every one of you forever-alones on “Oppo”, and every person who has ever commented favorably on a Doug DeMuro “humor piece”. I’ll show all of you that there is no substitute for the power of pure, burning hatred.

    “Plus, there will be stickers.”

This ^. Nobody does internet beat-down better. You must — MUST — win now.

And Bark puked out of Robert Cray’s…hold on. It was YOU?

Are you going to rename the trophy? Maybe it should be “The Truth about Baruth: Excellent Racer Trophy”

      TTABERT?

Good acronyms are few and far between - and with over 50 years to try, nothing comes close to Scripps’ FLIP.

That is the most beautiful announcement post I have ever reposted to the racecar page.

    • MrFixit1599

Wrong. The most beautiful announcement would be you and Jack collaborating with your 944, fixing the damn exhaust, making it last through an entire race, and “WINNING”. to paraphrase Charlie Sheen. That announcement would be epic, and worthy of being reposted to all of the internets.

If that doesn’t happen, then yes, I concur, the throwdown post was excellent.

Stef and I have been on the track together before.

        Both in 944s.

        But not the same one.

It’s up to her to make it happen. I don’t beg women — even the cute ones.
