If you’ve been following the media coverage of the OMG MCKINNEY TEXAS RACIST PIG WHITE SUPREMACY RACISM “pool party” incident, then I would hope that you have already noticed the absurdity of the provided narrative. We are asked to believe that, following a confrontation between white residents of a gated Texas community, a fascist pig cop just happened to show up and started physically attacking black residents of the gated community for no reason whatsoever, as whites shouted “Go Back To Section 8!” at their own neighbors. Neighbors, they ask you to believe, who were using the pool legitimately just as the whites screaming at them were.
The true story, of course, is completely different.
Let’s start with one side’s version of events. African-American activism site The Root offers the kindest possible interpretation of what happened here:
Tatiana Rhodes, a 19-year-old McKinney resident, reportedly planned the event, which, Heavy notes, was advertised on social media. According to the flier, a group calling itself Dimepiece X Twinzz Promotions was listed as the host of the pool party, which was scheduled from 4:30 to 10 p.m. The event was deejayed by DJ Reign, a Dallas DJ who’s listed on his Twitter account as CEO of EventsHavoc! He isn’t interested in talking about the events of Friday, according to tweets on his Twitter account.
Before messaging that he had no interest in talking about Friday’s events, he reportedly fielded a few from folks who believed that he’d coordinated the pool party.
According to Twitchy, someone posting from DJ Reign’s account noted that he wasn’t near the event when it took place and that he didn’t make the fliers. In addition, posts noted that he was paid to deejay the event and nothing more. There have been conflicting reports as to how many guests were in attendance, but many outlets put the number as high as 70 teens.
So far, so good, except for one thing: it wasn’t a pool party. It was a cookout, held without permits or any attempt to obtain permission, on the park next to the pool. The pool-party imagery on social media, together with an ill-timed Tweet from “DJ Reign”, made people think that it was a pool party.
And guess what? There was a private pool next to the park! So some of the kids who lived in the neighborhood decided to use their membership cards to go to the pool instead.
And some of them let their friends in.
And when other people saw that happen, they climbed the fence.
So. Imagine you’re at the pool with your children, a pool for which you are paying exorbitant HOA fees and membership fees, and you see between 70 and 100-plus people climbing the fences to get into the pool. Doesn’t matter if they are white, black, or whatever. At that point, you’re calling security. Right? As fate would have it, I have some personal experience with this. When Bark and I were kids, we used to sneak into a local apartment community’s swimming pool in the summer. We quickly learned that we had to arrive in groups of one or two kids. If six or seven of us showed up at once, someone would complain and the apartment management would arrive.
That’s six or seven white kids between the ages of 8 and 15, on BMX bikes.
So I have no trouble believing that the sudden arrival of seventy or more teenagers would prompt a call to security. There are also allegations that bottles of beer were thrown at children who were already in the pool into order to “clear the area”, but there is no proof.
The promoters of the cookout abdicated responsibility for the event. They made no attempts to control their own crowd. Instead, they watched while their partygoers trespassed on private property.
So they’re stupid. But not so stupid that they haven’t hired attorneys.
I’d encourage you to read this very thorough breakdown of the events leading up to the arrival of the police. It’s not written without bias — at one point, the wince-inducing phrase “gladiator males” appears — but the photos and videos and evidence are real.
The most troubling allegation in the piece is that Tatyana Rhodes and her mother profit from organizing parties in which underage women are encouraged to “make it clap” in front of adult men.
Sexual exploitation is the real story being concealed. The fact that Tatyana’s mother, LaShana Burks, is also involved adds a particular unease to the exploitative mix.
LaShana Burks obviously has no issue with her 20-year-old daughter organizing parties where 13, 14, 15 year old girls intermix with teenage and much older gladiator males, during her “make it clap” parties. The same type of young adult males who were present at the “Dime Piece Cookout”, turned pool party fiasco, last Friday.
However, Mrs. Burks is apparently not alone; after all – the families (fathers) of Grace, Jahda and Dajerria have appeared together with their daughters on national television defending their “Dime Piece Cookout” behavior, and subsequent participation in the “Dime Piece” event(s).
The social media of the aforementioned teen “Dime Piece Girls” is so profoundly vulgar in graphic sexual language and imagery, we intentionally refuse to show or link to it. Personally we find it difficult to believe their parents accept what is being advertised by their teenage daughters. However, we are forced to admit, there exists today a sociology of thug-life and culture that accepts behavior historically defined as lacking virtue or morality.
It would be profoundly interesting, before they get too far in retreat, to put Tatyana Rhodes and her mother LaShana Burks back in front of a camera and ask them to explain to a national audience what the verbiage of their promotional events reference.
You don’t have to be a racist, or a prude, to be profoundly disturbed at the idea of “dime piece cookouts”. The question becomes: how many of these parties took place, and how many young women were violated so that Tatyana and her mother could make money? If nobody in the media asks those questions, is it because they are afraid to question African-American women about the exploitation of children? In that case, is the cop who arrived on the scene still the biggest racist out there?

And the spin begins .

Do you think I’m being unfair to the people involved?
Keep in mind, I’m not trying to address the actions of the cop in any way.
Well ; let’s just take an unbiased look at a few facts : http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/06/11/1392348/-Fox-s-Key-McKinney-Witness-Sean-Toon-and-his-Wife-were-with-people-who-attacked-Pool-Party-Host
Changing the subject and smearing the CHILDREN involved is a typical right wing nutball tactic that makes good TRUE CONSERVATIVES who are not deathly afraid of any and all Black Folks , look bad .
-Nate
Nate, you really slew me with that one. “Let’s just take an unbiased look a few facts” and then referencing Kos in the next breath?
That doesn’t make the actions of the party organizers any more justified.
If you’re busy climbing over fences en masse and one of the people who yells at you happens to have painted turkeys while he was on the football team sixteen years ago, it doesn’t automatically excuse your actions.
This is major tool of the progressive. Disqualify the guy who noticed bad behavior instead of the bad behavior itself.
So, being white, suburban, old (ish), male, professionally employed, possessing a well rounded portfolio, having an active musical schedule at church, and being married two decades + (to a PhD) et al and etc, I live a comfortably insulated life and had to google a number of terms in this article:
Making it Clap: To dance in such a way as to make the naked cheeks of the female buttocks “clap” together
Dime Piece Girls: Extremely attractive black females attendant to the Rap music scene, very young and assumed to be sexually inexperienced, which increases said DPG’s desirability
I’m not a prude, either. But to have these terms in a flyer and posted online (aimed at teen girls) seems to indicate that a certain type of party wass being planned, and it wasn’t a Girl Scout jamboree. Also, that some parents - fathers, especially - have gone on record defending their teen daughters’ participation in this event with this type of behavior as somehow acceptable boggles.
Whether the now resigned cop needed to wave his Glock to clear the area is something which can be debated as wrong or excessive (I’d like to see more video of the lead-up to his actions), but there is no question whatsoever as to what was likely taking place at this party — and on private property, uninvited — as being probably illegally exploitative at most and immoral and degrading at least. The current lawyering-up of these parents seems to indicate the former.

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. (Orwell)
Regards to my favorite revolutionary… well done!
Dear Lord - I wonder if it’s too late to get a unibomber style cabin out in the mountains to live until society self-implodes? As with Domestic Hearse, I had no idea what any of those terms meant.
Funny thing how no one bothers to look at this guy : http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/06/10/1392223/-Someone-took-a-look-at-the-guy-who-called-911-because-black-people-were-in-the-pool
It’s called whitewashing folks , it’s wrong and UN AMERICAN .
-Nate
Every single one of these stories the MSM shows about how poorly cops (or whites) treat
black peopleteens turns out to be misrepresented by the MSM and people are starting to notice. You have to be pretty dim to not pick up on what ‘teen’ or ‘youth’ means in the media.Or ” thug ‘ .
Enjoy your fear America .

The girl with the guys knee in her back isn’t getting paid by the government
” Nate, you really slew me with that one. “Let’s just take an unbiased look a few facts” and then referencing Kos in the next breath?”
Yep .
The truth always pisses off the droolers and haters .
Look at the bullshit article heading ~ a 14 year old gets beat up by a Cop for doing *exactly* what he told her to do and the article smears her with ‘ teenage prostitution ‘ .
I know , I know , all n*66ers are bad and scary .
-Nate
(who lives in the Ghetto and is aware but not afraid unlike you)
That pool was used without incident for years by white and black kids.
Were racism the driving force behind this incident, what happened the other day would have happened again and again for years.
Nate, the only one sputtering with hate, oikophobia style, is you.
Out of respect to Jack, I won’t say what you and the horse you rode in on should do, but I’m tired of having to be civil to rectal orifices who throw around the racism card. Your behavior is shameful and uncivil and you owe Jack an apology.
America is about the least bigoted place on earth. Try being a Korean in Japan, or tell me how well the Hutus and Tutsis get along.
You see some of us are capable of seeing dysfunction in both cop culture and urban black culture. The next time Jack and I get together we’ll have a laugh about the idea that he’s defending a racist cop.
A number of black residents of the neighborhood have said that the narrative played out in the media is inaccurate at best, but you still want to cling religiously to the racism card.
Keep excusing bad behavior with your own behavior that you think benevolent, but in practice is genuinely racist.
Yeah, “CHILDREN”, who know what Dimepiece and Make It Clap mean.
“who lives in the Ghetto and is aware but not afraid unlike you” - Is this the hip version of “some of my best friends are black”?
“I know , I know , all n*66ers are bad and scary.”
Well, I do know something. I have a number of close friends and good customers (and some folks who are both) that are black. I’ve made it my practice, since we’re all cool about discussing race without freaking out, to ask them what word goes through their mind when they see something like n***er, or “the N word”, or worse, how you spelled it (did you get a frisson of delight from almost using a naughty word?). They say the actual word. So rather than protecting anyone, you, yes you, Nate, are using an ugly slur. You, Nate, are hurting black people.
You know, that “you must be afraid of black folks” meme is getting around. This isn’t the first time that I’ve seen something like “it doesn’t matter how you treat black or brown people, deep down you fear them”. I do embroidery work for car and motorcycle clubs, multiracial but mostly black. So my neighbors will sometimes see 4 or 5 big black guys pull up to my house on noisy Harley’s or Hayabusas. Oooh! Scary! (Google Count Scary Detroit - can you tell how seriously you’re being taken?)
The officers of the clubs know where I keep the emergency key in case they need to drop something off when I’m not home. I’m just so, so scared of black people.
Oh, and if Arabs are “brown”, can Jews, who according to historical, biblical and genetic evidence, are closely related to Arabs, at least be beige?
I thought it was already covered on this site that people that live in the ghetto decisively do not call where they live…the ghetto.
It would be interesting to research exactly when the term used for the part of European cities where Jews were restricted from living outside their confines started being applied to America’s mostly black urban centers.
Ghetto is Italian for foundry. In Venice, they made the Jews live near the foundry, in the smelly part of town. I wonder what the Italians would have said if someone brought up “environmental racism”.
Racism test: Imagine you’re wrestling a bikini-clad Esperanza Spalding to the ground in McKinney, Texas. Are you wearing a police uniform?
Only if that’s the agreed-upon roleplay, I’d think.
That’s good ronnie ;
Smear me and ignore that facts , it’s O.K. to call the girl a prostitute from your ivory tower .
This is called yellow journalism as no doubt you’re well aware .
Keep ignoring the facts , I don’t mind .
-Nate
Again, for the record, I don’t think that she was a prostitute so much as she was prostituted. This Tatyana person was making money from the presence of teenaged girls who perhaps didn’t fully understand how they were being used.
Understood and agreed but your initial head line doesn’t make that clear .
.
I’m both a Parent and a Foster parent , having your Teenaged High School Football player comes home in a funk because when they rode out to the Suburbs for a game , the entire white only team lined up in the parking lot and began yelling ‘ n*66ers get back on the bus ! ‘ before it had even parked ~ this with their ‘ coach ‘ standing there and not doing saying anything .
.
Had that been my team , I’d forfeited the game immediately but them I’m old enough to understand what Good Sportsmanship means , many do not these days .
.
I guess that was O.K. because , ‘ thugs ‘ you know , even though I had six boys graduate High School , five went off to college , none are thugs , carry guns , or act rudely to total strangers .
.
-Nate
The only one smearing anyone is you with your unfounded accusations of racism. Nobody called anyone a prostitute. I certainly didn’t, and I hardly live in an ivory tower. I live 2.5 miles from the Detroit city limits in an older middle class suburb that’s at least 40% black. I’m in the city frequently, sometimes daily.
If you weren’t so ready to play the racism canard you’d see that Jack’s post was about two adults exploiting teenagers, but I guess like young black men getting shot by other young black men, when it’s black people exploiting other blacks, social justice demands that people of pallor shut up.
One mustn’t ever say a critical word about any of the favored groups. Just remember, though, what the song says, what’s hip today might just be passe. There was a time when Jew hatred was unfashionable in America’s left. Now Barry Sanders gets asked by NPR about his non-existent Israeli citizenship.
You didn’t answer my question, can Jews be beige according to today’s racialist bean counters like yourself? I know that like some Asians, Jews are considered beneficiaries of white privilege.
Tell me, what do you think of the two women who invited “Dimepiece” teens to “Make it Clap”?
Were I still a teenager I’d prolly enjoy ‘ make it clap ‘ .
Were this article in fact about shaming those Women , I’d be in support of it .
Instead , this article begins on a bad premise and avoids the shit storm this bad cop started just to be clickbait .
Your angry , dishonest responses show what you are ronnie .
I hope you never have to console _any_ Child because of racism as I do on a regular basis .
You may live in Detroit but you’re not honest .
To answer your Jewish question : I don’t know and I don’t get it , I grew up where Jews were plentiful and they were teachers , cops , family raisers , kids I played with and was hassled for being friends of simply because they were Jews ~ makes no sense to me .
The only ‘ thugs ‘ in this situation were the white trash who started the whole mess and the one cop was was a scared idiot who’s well out of the force now , no loss whatsoever .
-Nate
I hope you never have to console _any_ Child because of racism as I do on a regular basis
That’s a rather broad assumption, and also an clever attempt to claim them mantle of victimhood by association.
I’ve had to explain to my children and grandchildren that they will likely be the target of individuals and groups who want to exterminate them and the rest of our family.
You sure you want to play the oppression Olympics?
I’ll see your black foster kids and raise you my grandfather’s entire extended family. Anyone kill a quarter of your relatives?
I had to go google ‘ Esperanza Spalding ‘ ~ she’s WAY too young to interest me but I guess if that floats yer boat .
.
Needs a better hair cut too =8-) .
.
-Nate
maybe i don’t get it but i thought the outrage was because the police thought it was acceptable to pull a gun on a group of rowdy teenagers. the nature of the “party” hardly seems relevant as long as the kids weren’t acting in a threatening manner, the police should have been able to break up the event without the use of firearms.
Just so Josh ;
The rest is bullcrap and trying to hide their true feelings .
Go ahead , it’s fine but it’ll never get a pass from me . you can pretent it’s O.K. to you _your_ hatefull buzz words , every one knows what you’re trying to say and your weak attempt to hide your shame at being called out by making this some how a Jewish thing , is really childish .
BTW : yes ,if you live in the Ghetto , that’s what Black folks call it . prolly not in front of you .
-Nate
I hope it’s not too late to post on this subject. But this might tell Nate how it really is: I was with some friends this recent Friday June 12th in Dallas, as they had family and grand kids visiting them from California and they wanted me to hang out with them. They were staying at a nice hotel and wanted me to join them in the pool area. Before I arrived they called me to tell me they were leaving the pool area - relating to me that “there are too many blacks at the pool.” These folks of course saw another side to the McKinney pool part incident - and were worried of what might happen in their hotel pool. This points out how the left leaning MSM portrayal of the events in McKinney as police brutality or white racism is really back firing - under scoring how most of the world really knows what this is all about - because they see the same group of people over and over again causing problems and claiming racism.
