Fuck the NCAA. I knew before the brackets were announced that UVA would have to fave Michigan State before the final four for the THIRD straight year.
No different than last year when they wanted a duke – UK championship so bad that there was no possible way those teams would play each other before the championship. Dook had one of the easiest brackets I’ve seen in the three decades that I’ve watched college basketball. Won’t even discuss how badly Notre Dame, Arizona, and a lot of other teams got shafted with their seedings just to try to make the “dream matchup” possible.
Ugh. I love the sport, but I hate the BS behind it.
My prediction for what it’s worth (I don’t do brackets) is that Kansas will choke yet again, like they always do. Michigan State and UNC will be a game for the ages, and the winner of that one will take down Oregon in the final.
I’m in it to lose it. I don’t think I’ve watched a minute of college basketball this year, so who the hell knows. Picking Izzo to win it.
