It’s been just sixty days since I returned from my Oklahoma supercar coaching trip, but honestly it seems like years.
My article summing-up the experience is now available on R&T.com. TL;DR version: not everybody should be driving a very fast car on a racetrack with no prior experience. Crazy, I know, but there you have it.

My wife was borrowing my brand new 2015 Mustang GT. I felt I had to say something, but I didn’t want to kill her confidence. I ended up telling her “don’t accelerate unless the wheel is straight”. Glad to know I’m in good company!
Good advice and congrats on your GT!
We rented a Corvette from Hertz. We stopped in the middle of the desert (on tarmac) and she floored it and it started to get sideways and she quickly let off the gas. I said “Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you it’ll do that.”
Props to her for having the sense to let off… not everybody does.
