Spotter’s Guide To The May 2015 Road&Track

The cover of this month’s R&T features the SCG003 designed and built by my fellow Ferrarichat troll with whom I’ve maybe had three conversations very good friend Jim Glickenhaus. If you have $2.35 million, you can buy one.

Regrettably, I had nothing to do with the SCG article. However, if your budget is closer to $23,500 than $2.35 million, you might want to open the magazine…

On Page 52 you can read my complete impressions of the new Miata. It’s a full-length version of my online preview from Barcelona. Why did it take three months to appear in print? Probably because they replaced the Mazda-provided photos of your long-haired author with a series of inoffensive shots from my actual good friend good friend Evan Klein.

Page 58 has an “Oral History Of Spec Miata” that I’ve spent a few months putting together. If you enjoy club racing or want to hear a bit of the behind-the-scenes stories of Miata competition, you’ll want to check it out!

I’m hoping that my Huracan review will appear in next month’s R&T. After that… well, I’d better get cracking on writing something!

That was the second issue of my subscription, and it was so good from cover to cover that I left it behind at a good buddy’s place in another city so he could have a look. I hope I get it back!
