I’ll have a few reports on the new Viper ACR, as well as some track footage, for you tomorrow morning and afternoon…
The silver car in the photo is not an ACR. Instead, it’s something that wasn’t possible until the arrival of the “1 of 1” custom-Viper program: a fully-loaded, GTS-spec Viper with quilted leather, Harmon/Kardon system, and pretty much every option plus full TA 2.0 aerokit. Until this week, I’d have said that just such a car, in lime green, would be my favorite way to spend $125,000.
But the ACR… well, you’ll see.

Those Kumhos look nicely worn…
Dude, they’re almost new. It’s a shadow-pattern tire. Crazy huh?
It’s amazing what qualifies as a DOT tire nowadays.
Damn. Been a while since I’ve looked at R-compounds…
