December 11, 2015: Gene Haas, Haas F1 Team Owner
Last year, I drove to Charlotte to visit Gene Haas and Gunther Steiner at their new facility north of Charlotte, NC. I was hugely impressed by Haas himself; he combines laser-sharp thinking with a gambler’s approach to risk. You can read my interview with Gene on page 66. Let’s just say that I don’t expect his team to finish last in 2016.

The super sedan story was a good one. I was just out in page for work and it’s definitely a driver’s delight. I wish I had been in a super sedan instead of a 2016 specimen w-body. Zion is a brake-cooker with all the switchbacks.
